I NEED continual flame, help!

My PC is a cleric, not a wizard... he won't "gain 2 new spells". Although perhaps one of the mages could be convinced, I will think of it.

You will just gain all 4th-level spells on the cleric list. And you already have all 0-level, 1st-level, 2nd-level and 3rd-level spells on your list.

But well, for creating a whole new spell, only a wizard can by merely levelling. Can't you ask one to create a Continual Light variant that don't requires a ruby ? If it is a 4th-level spell that creates a light source (like continual flame) for one month rather than a 2nd-level spell that create a permanent light source would be underpowered enough to not have an unavailable material (or focus) component.

By the way: are you the same Ancalagon as the one we sometimes see on the SDEN forums ?
