That's silly though; that might actually add value to insider, and they don't seem interested in doing that lately.

Mass Effect would be wicked. For some reason, Firefly immediately popped to mind, but clearly there is already an RPG with that license. Didn't think of Buck Rogers, but that could fit.

There is sir and its called Serenity. Really a very well done RPG if you have never looked at it and free to download the PDF and excel character sheet.

Farscape would be an excellent choice. I loved that show. Alderac made a d20 game of it, but it wasn't particularly well done, IMHO. Didn't do the show justice, and was released too early into the series' lifespan.

I wouldn't call it too geeky, but it can be a polarizing topic.

I would suggest Robotech or Macross, but I think Palladium still has the rights on that.

Has anyone mentioned Alternity yet? I've got a player who bought into it big time when it came out in the 90's and would love to see it return, and I doubt WotC's going to do it any time soon. What are the chances they'd license it out to someone who would make it compatible with 4e rules?
