IA: A Teacher for Laynie

"Interesting. Well, thank you for your time Rayne, it has been a pleasure as always."

Vanitri will excuse himself and return to Truman and Lex.

 

[Rystil Arden]

"Ah, but I didn't even finish the tea..." Rayne looks down at some herbs she has gathered, then sighs, "Ah, I see. I was being questioned, not visited. Well, see you later then, Vanitri."

*Vanitri heads back to Truman and Lex, who are still in Truman's room.*

 

[Bront]

"Well, far be it from me to turn down tea, that would be quite rude."

Vanitri will stay for tea and small talk

 

[Rystil Arden]

*Rayne gives an enigmatic look, as if she is unsure whether he is staying now just because she said something or not. Nonetheless, she finishes the tea and pours some for Vanitri and then for herself. She is a bit quiet to start, though, waiting to see if Vanitri will initiate the conversation.*

 

[Bront]

"You'll have to fogive me, I've been somewhat out of sorts. With Laynie and all the rumors..."

Vanitri sips his tea. "This is different, what is it?"

 

[Rystil Arden]

"Oh, yes, that. Well, don't worry. I'm here to protect my students in case of any foul play, so you don't have to feel like you're in danger here--you're completely safe."

"Ah, this is is a brew of my own devising. It combines the typical Medibarian tea leaves with exotic brightroot favoured by the elves. In my opinion, the unique blend tastes better than either of them apart. How do you like it?"

 

[Bront]

"It's good. Reminds me a little of some of the tea I used to drink at the caravan. Perhaps some of the elven herbs."

 

[Rystil Arden]

"Ah, that could be it. I didn't know they had elven herbs among Freefolk caravans, but I suppose that makes sense," Rayne nods and smiles slightly.

(OOC: You got the symbolism in the last post, or no? )

 

[Bront]

OOC: Hehe.

"The freefolk are a varried people, with all races among them. I even saw a Katara 'folk once. Heck, I've probably got a little elven blood in me."

 

[Rystil Arden]

"Well, I suppose it is possible. For a race that claims to be so superior to all others, elven men don't seem to make enough of an impression to keep the beautiful elven lasses away from those strong muscled humans."
