"Well, I have good and bad news, what do you want first?"

 

[Rystil Arden]

"Let's hear the bad news first. Then we can finish off with the good news and be happy."

 

[Bront]

"Rayne already tried to scry Gaark, and couldn't, so she thinks he did comit suicide, and mentioned that there was one class he was having trouble with."

"The good news, Tammy is alive. However, she has chosen to not be scryed, and thus her wishes have been honored. Her brother was already aware of this."

"Oh, and Apparently I was a suspect in Gaark's disapearance, but if need be, Kitty will be called upon to give me an alibi."

 

[Rystil Arden]

"Kitty will? Right...Ah, that's actually possibly a bad thing, since she's going to say she wasn't there."

"Well at least Tammy's okay!" Truman seems quite relieved, "But that doesn't explain why she'd choose not to be Scryed. Too bad about Gaark--he was a nice chap."

 

[Bront]

"I realize that Lex," Vanitri says with a wink.

"And Truman, I'm suprised your roomie didn't mention it to you."

 

[Rystil Arden]

"I know...but I guess he must have had his reasons. Actually, I haven't seen him much lately either--maybe he's gone looking for her."

 

[Bront]

"We'll see I'm sure. Did he mention anything about Kitty of late?"

 

[Rystil Arden]

"You mean anything useful about Kitty? Or did you mean Tammy?"

 

[Bront]

"No, Kitty. Since she's supposedly my alibi, I'd think that perhaps he might have mentioned something about her."

 

[Rystil Arden]

"No, he didn't really say anything except his usual glowing commentary. Apparently he must have seen through Lex's ruse, I guess."
