"Ahhh, that's good work there . . . attention ta detail . . . obviously dwarven work," Thurgan commented, impressed. He absently stroked his beard as he looked over the work with an appraising eye.

"We oughta keep goin' . . . got women-folk ta save an' all," Thurgan offered.

Thurgan headed down the tunnel, eyes watching for more danger of the trap . . . or other variety.

*He makes it to the end of the tunnel where the tunnel opens up into a room that used to be a workshop and forge but is now mostly in ruins. There is a dim fire still lit in the forge itself, as it seems that the orcs have been using it to cook, and the scent of roasting flesh wafts from the meat on the flame. The dim illumination casts shadows on the faces of seven young women who are chained, cowering in the corner, wearing little more than the chains themselves, and covered with bruises and cuts all over their bodies.*

Is there a way for us to reset the trap?

Krug scans the women. "The guards must be somewhere around...They won't leave them unattended just like that would they?"

"I don' think so . . . ," Thurgan said looking around the room. "Let's take a look aroun' befer makin' any plans . . . "

Thurgan looked up fpr any ledges, then started a circuit around the room searching, crossbow in hand.

*Thurgan's search reveals no hidden ledges, but there are more dwarven bones here, piled up in the corner. Underneath some of the bones, Thurgan finds a stonework trigger, but he doesn't know what will happen if he pushes it. He also finds a case of five javelins propped in another corner.*

Thurgan searched for any other exits besides the one he and Krug entered. He examined the craftsmanship on the javelins for a moment, not wanting to be distracted if they were attacked.

*The javelins are fairly crude, but at least they'll do their job.*

*Thurgan sees a small tunnel in the back of the room that leads to an adjacent room that is empty, save for a hole leading to a subterranean well and two rabbit corpses. It seems to be an old larder. The larder has no other exits.*

*Unhappy that he had found no dwarven craftsmanship, Thurgan discarded the javelins. He had enough to carry as it was.* "Why not jus' throw a branch if'n ya were gonna put da effort inta makin' somthin' right," Thurgan grumbled rheotorically.

"Room seems ta be secure, Krug," Thurgan commented. Thurgan pointed out the trigger, "Mind that stonework trigger, don't know what would happen if it were ta be activated. I'm thinkin' there's somethin' else in this room . . . somethin' secret but I can't find it."

*Thurgan searched the larder area just to be certain that other than the well, there were no other entrances, secret stone work doors or whatever.*

*Satisfied with the larder area being secure, Thurgan inspected the prisoners last. He examined the chains and the locks and what they were chained to. He looked at the prisoners to see if they were all treated the same, etc.*

"Hol' on just a bit and we'll git ya outta there an' back home," Thurgan commented.
