D&D 5E [IC] Creamsteak's Princes of Elemental Evil II

This room is bunk room and guard post. Sturdy bronze hasps are fitted to the two stone doors, and each door features a loophole covered by a small iron plate at chest level on a human. A round table and four rickety wooden chairs stand in the middle o f t h e room. There are ten bunks here, although half of them don't appear to be in use.

You find in this room a pouch containing 30 gp, 12 pp, four garnets worth 100 gp each, and two potions of greater healing.

The last remaining room contains two ancient silos that provide a relatively safe place to rest.

This large room is strewn with crumbling masonry. A dry pit lies in the middle of the floor, ringed by a five-foot-wide walkway.

OOC: sorry, my bad. So it seems to me that we cleared out the whole water temple. Shall we head off to the temple of Earth? Want to rest first? Thaliss willing to continue, but is also fine if we rest.

Kubeba grins almost boyishly, "Unless you folk are feeling particularly tired, I say we move on to this other group and see what we can do to ruin their day."

Carradoc hates admitting weakness. But here goes:

"I'm drained, my friends, and I wouldn't be able to repeat that trick with the turtle, or cast another fireball. If you want me to be effective, I'm going to need to study, and rest."

It's only later that he realizes that he has used the word "friends" of his companions for the first time. Perhaps no one noticed.

I suspect that taking a rest on the road is a less obvious target than the temple we've just ransacked, but either is fine.

Carradoc can cast Leomund's Tiny Hut as a ritual to provide a modicum of safety.
