"It's a fair question," Aridha grumbled. "What -are- we looking for down here, now that those people have been rescued? What do we think we're going to find?"

Dent nodded once in Damien's direction. "Aye, the Knight Captain," he emphasized the title, shooting a look of disdain at Damien before continuing, "is of the belief that the dwarf merchant we seek is down here. The question at hand, however, is whether anyone is too injured to continue the search. Do we need a rest, or can we soldier on?"

"Onward," says Carradoc, pointing in no particular direction. He knows that secret doors and such might exist in the basement like this, but isn't concerned to chase them down. He starts moving back to the giant creature's cage, and to the door beyond, hoping that the others will follow.

Dent, eager to get on with satisfying his superior by procuring the dwarf merchant, shoved off the wall. He tailed after Carradoc toward the cage, picking up and sheathing his longsword as he did. He kept out the flail, though. The ball and chain felt good in his hand, their weight a comfort.

Tolan trails further onward with the others. The fight had riled him up, and for an instant he had almost felt whole again, but it was over far too quickly with his adrenaline and focus quickly fading, his exhaustion returned. One more room, perhaps. . .

Aridha hesitated, but then nodded and followed. Increasingly this venture was feeling like a distraction to her, but she'd committed to at least finish this place off. She'd not simply abandon these people in the middle of enemy territory.
