Dent, the thug in front of me is yours! Thaliss says telepathically to his brother in arms. He'll focus his mind, and silently create an illusion of a 5ft tall silver wall with nasty spikes appearing between m and n 12 to apparently block the southern staircase down.

OOC: new casting of minor illusion, no movement, standing ready to cast shield if reaver lands a blow (note hat reaver's attack on Thaliss has disadvantage since Dent is 5 ft away

Seeing Urhnora dash up the stairs, Damien moved to follow her. He knew she was likely to be warded, but he hoped Arhida had hurt her enough to break the spell. Alighting up the stairs, he stabbed out with his rapier and dagger, hoping to put an end to the other warlock.

OOC: Move: N5 Action: Attack w/Advantage: [roll0], [roll1], Damage [roll2] Bonus Action: Attack w/Advantage: [roll3], [roll4], Damage [roll5] Note: Not sure how we're working in three dimensions, but I am assuming the sphere of darkness covers at least the genasi and the two Reavers closest to the north stairs. I believe everyone else is uncovered. Arhida might be able to shift to the left and be in the sphere, but maybe not as the far edges would be higher due to Damien's elevation.

Pressed hard from all sides, Tolan's sword flicks out again and again trying to find his foes.

Damien brings his blades to bear against Urshnora. He deals 15 points of damage in all. An enormous spider is suddenly revealed from the darkness. Urshnora curses your actions. "Leave me be worshiper of some weak foul false prophet!"

OOC: Darkness is complicated. I'm assuming from the stairs you hit everything in range though, which is still just Urshnora and the two reavers.

Tolan strikes out, but the Fathomer's seem to block or parry his attacks. He is surrounded, taking blows, but he has not felled them yet.

OOC: The number of misses is damn high.

Notably, it looks like Urshnora might attempt to move again (provoking) without the protection of her ward, should Damien like to take the attack (with advantage).

OH NO YOU DIDN'T!!! This one MUST die. IMMEDIATELY!

The fury booming in Damien's head was overwhelming and would probably cause his next attack to miss.

Aridha chitters irritably as her shielding darkness falls away, but she stays in spider form for the moment. There were other tricks she could do, once she was free of these reavers.

She strikes at whichever looks most wounded!

The reaver Spideridha bites succumbs to the poison and falls lifeless to the floor.

The reavers fight to the best of their ability. Two make a poor attempt at fighting Damien in the darkness. The two others along the balcony move to throw javelins down at the visible targets. One javelin does strike Dent dealing 4 damage.

The other reaver in melee also attacks Dent, but fails to find purchase.

The two remaining reavers continue to attack Tolan. The female reaver shows Tolan some of his own luck landing a second critical strike. His damage resistance is significant, as he only takes 10 points of damage.

When Urshnora moves, she provokes Damien's blades, but she avoids them even blind to them. She gets to the balcony edge and she can finally see what she wants to see. She begins an incantation and two bolts of unsanctified water lashes out from her fingertip to strike Grimmjaw. "You shouldn't have given away your strategy, hedge knight!"

Her eldritch blast does connect and deals 10 points of damage to the pig, waking him from his stupor. "That hurts woman!"

The pig-man now on the move saddles up next to dent. "I said I ain't scare of you!" The pig man's attacks are blocked and deflected respectively.

OOC: I'm not sure if Carrodoc is a level below me or not. I think the enemy warlock was in that square previously. Either way, even treating it as difficult terrain, I should be able to move to where I need to go.

That woman will NOT defy my wrath!

"On it, boss..." Damien muttered. He darted forward between the combatants, grateful that his shroud of darkness concealed him from any counterattack. Darting along the balcony, he grinned as the cloud of darkness again covered the genasi and he heard her curse.

Damien saw his opening and drove down with his rapier and dagger. "I'd say I'm going to stick you like a pig, but I think that already happened this evening."

Ho! Ho! Evil one, Damien!
