The black haze burns away in a flash of sudden pain, and Tolan finds himself staring up at the monastery ceiling, and the stony visage of Guardo. Leaving his shield behind on the ground, he hauls himself up to his feet once more and hammers at the guard with an intensity he doesn't feel.

OOC: I don't think I ever used my starting inspiration. If I'm wrong about that, discount the second roll.

Move: stand (-15 ft)
Action: Attack Guard AC11 with inspiration.

attack - [roll0]
advantage - [roll1]
damage - [roll2]

AC: 17 HP:12/41
Exhaustion 1: Disadvantage on ability checks.

Carradoc casts another magic missile at Quarbo, using all the spell ability he has [level 2], and moves towards the lever [s7]

OOC: Magic missile with a level 2 slot = 4 bolts
bolt 1 [roll0]
bolt 2 [roll1]
bolt 3 [roll2]
bolt 4 [roll3].

A salvo of magic missiles is projected at Qarbo.

Aridha attacks and misses Qarbo.

Qarbo decides it is worth it to risk the attack of opportunity. He moves towards the middle of the room. Aridha takes the attack and misses.

Qarbo aims a normal Shatter spell at the ACAD/1011 intersection.

Dent is the only character to make his save.

20 damage to Damien, Tolan, and Thaliss. 10 damage to Dent.

Tolan and Damien drop down again. Thaliss and Dent are still standing.

"Surrender now and I might spare you. You might make useful replacements for the loyal you've killed."

Now that Quarbo has separated himself from his allies, Carradoc desperately attempts to put him to sleep.

OOC: Sleep, level 2 slot, centred on X14. HP affected [roll0].

The sonic blast dropped the warlock like a sack of potatoes.

[sblock]
OOC: Death Save = [roll0]

HP: 0/39
AC: 16 (<- As far as I can tell, you keep your DEX bonus, even if unconscious. Odd)
Notes:
Death Save Pass/Fail: 1/0

Dent's blood boiled with rage. He'd just healed those two. He strode forward to Y12 and pointed the tip of his longsword at Qarbo. "Visam te gratia flecto genua mea ad infernum. And that's a promise."

OOC: Move: 30' to Y12.

Action: Dodge. PHB 192. Until the start of Dent's next turn, any attack roll against him has disadvantage if Dent can see the attacker. And Dent will make Dexterity saving throws with advantage (but loses this benefit if he is incapacitated or if his speed drops to 0).

Bonus Action: Vow of Enmity against Qarbo. PHB 88. You utter a vow of enmity against a creature you can see within 10' of you, using your Channel Divinity. You gain advantage on attack rolls against the creature for 1 minute or until it drops to 0 hit points or falls unconscious.

EDIT: Ninja'd by Carradoc! Awesome! Are we still on initiative? If not, Dent will march his happy ass up to Qarbo and put his sword through Qarbo's heart. And then he'll go attempt Wisdom (Medicine) DC 10 checks on Tolan and Damien to stabilize both of them.

Tolan 18, Damien 20

When Qarbo falls, Aridha wastes no time in casting off the beastskin and standing again as an elf. The pain of her injuries surges back, but she holds it at bay as she makes her way to those who fell. As Dent sees to one, she works her magic on the other, restoring enough vitality so that he can move, then helping him to his feet.

(2nd level Cure Wounds)
