Carradoc is pleased with the rope trick -- it provides enough space for them all, and allows them to hide safely within the monastery walls. The extra-dimensional space itself is unusual, and while resting he explores it with his fingers, feeling it. Then, he begins to feel the magic dissipating, and he warns his comrades that they'd soon need to leave.

This dawdling annoys me. I need some killing! Archandros whined in Damien's mind. For his part, Nicodemus shifted around uncomfortably in the warlock's belt pouch. Feeling refreshed, Damien called his pact blade to hand and prepared to venture forth with the rest of the party.

Tolan takes a moment to strap his shield to his arm and then moves to the door indicated by his allies, and tries to listen for any clues as to what lies beyond.

OOC: Darn, and I was looking forward casting the rituals unseen servant to open doors and alarm top protect our backs! Maybe we wait a bit before the next door? ;-)

After healing the wounds of herself and others, and resting to recover some energy, Aridha takes a listen too, alongside Tolan.

OOC: I think Tolan went ahead and used his Hit Dice to heal himself to full. Granted, you probably would have cast those spells before we took the Short Rest, but...
