Maighan glanced at the courier briefly, then looked back at Thaliss. "This is a discussion we should be having more privately."
Once they were a safer distance away, she continued.
"I don't think letting the courier come with us is wise. It's far more likely she will raise an alarm, or guide us into traps, than help us in any way. As a courier, her knowledge of the territory will be far greater than ours. As a cultist, we cannot expect her sense of self-preservation to outweight her loyalty to them."
