Ogham starts helping Rotom, but freezes mid-movement when Alara calls out.

The warforged looks at his kobold friend, confused. He's not sure anymore if taking off the armour is useful, so Ogham waits for her to tell him to either stop or continue.

“Stabbed?” The young man that came out of the back room wore not the cleanest apron, his hands covered in whatever ungeant he’d been mixing in the back room. He did go to a sink and wash thoroughly, however. He looked to be in his late twenties. “Did your customer object to your rates…” He trailed off a bit. “Oh. You aren’t my usual sort of patients,” he noted, looking over the warforged, who seemed to be injured, and the large half orc with a simple cut on her arm. The small kobold was much worse off, however, covered in blood. “Well, at least you aren’t missing a limb,” he noted. “Who’s first? The name is Vorj Wrighten,” he introduced himself as he pushed the stirrups out of the way and put down a relatively clean sheet on the table for them to lie on. He set a full bottle of dwarven whiskey -- the cheap stuff, strong and liable to eat a hole in your gut -- on the table. “For the pain,” he said, nodding to them. “Help yourselves.”

Vorj gathered up bandages and supplies from the shelves and looked at them expectantly as he washed his hands and equipment with another bottle of the cheap whiskey.

Alara considered. She had seen similar approaches on the battlefield, though had been hoping for something better in the city. She felt that having assumed command - officially or not - she should be the first to volunteer. But she was the only one without any injuries.

She sighed. "Rotom?" The aristocrat asked.

Ogham nods to Alara's suggestion, then prods Rotom forward.

He remains close, however, ready to help the kobold should she need help removing the armour after all. The warforged is not sure how the whiskey would help him, but he knows that it's best to trust a healer so Ogham will follow the examples of the others who are helped before him.

Rotom, takes the bottle and pours some into her mouth, swallowing it with what could be called a cross between a hiss and a sigh.

"Yes..." Pant. "On it!" Cough. "We have rail to catch..."

Round 0

When Rotom was settled on the table, Vorj took a moment to examine the kobold’s injuries. He poked and prodded at her to get a sense if there were any internal injuries, or just the cuts and bruising. He didn’t ask any questions about what happened, how she got repeatedly stabbed, slashed, and bludgeoned.

The young man seemed to have more skill than his establishment appeared. It was still a bare bones operation. He poured the dwarven rotgut whiskey over open wounds, then spread a nasty smelling green paste over them before binding them.

“I’ve got a bit of dreamlily, if that’s something you want and have the gold for,” he said. “Two doses. It’s not...medical grade,” he warned. “But it would still help with the pain.”

Healer Feat: 1D6+4 = [5]+4 = 9

Dreamlily: A psychoactive liquid that smells and tastes like your favorite beverage, essence of dreamlily is a Sarlonan opiate. First imported to help manage pain during the Last War, it’s now the most commonly abused substance in Sharn. Though dreamlily isn’t illegal if used for medicinal purposes, it’s heavily taxed, and thus most dreamlily is smuggled in and sold on the black market. Dreamlily dens can be found across the lower wards. Consuming dreamlily causes disorienting euphoria and brings about remarkable resistance to pain. A creature under the effects of dreamlily is poisoned for 1 hour. While poisoned in this way, the creature is immune to fear, and the first time it drops to 0 hit points without being killed outright, it drops to 1 hit point instead. A dose of dreamlily costs around 1 gp, or up to ten times that if purchased through legal channels. There are many varieties of the drug, however, and the duration or the price might vary accordingly.

Rotom hissed when the whiskey hit her wounds. The green paste made her feel alive again, even if that life was accompanied by some soreness. The young kobold was unfamiliar with dreamlilly, but if it hits anything like the drink, it would be better to not have it right now, they were on a time limit.

"Uh, I'll pass for now doc. The pain is a lot better. Anyone else need to be bandaged?"

OOC: Rotom just does not know anything about medicine, it seems.

Oh, my aching head. I don't know what kind of poison that was but.. Wait, where am I? Voices. Familiar. Cautiously peeking out from a dirty curtain "Og? Is that you?"

Ogham perks up when he hears a familiar voice calling him.

Accustomed to being distracted by animals, it may not be unusual for his companions that the warforged gets up and moves to the backdoor, opening it without asking for permission.
