Ogham holds his mace up, ready to strike the remaining kobold in case it keeps attacking.

"Surrender," the warforged implores, giving the small reptilian the chance to survive this impossible encounter. His gentle voice is at a contrast with his threatening posture, however, and Ogham realizes he may not give the right impression.

OOC: Ready an action: If/when the kobold attacks any of his allies, Ogham hits it with his mace.

Persuasion to try to have the kobold give up:

Alara sized up the situation. The Shifter seemed to be lost in the crowd, and she was surely in no position to catch it. They needed to take the last kobold alive.

She readied a spell but held it in check, letting eldritch energy crackle beween the upraised fingers of her hand, eyes locked on their remaining assailant.

OOC:
Readying Action: Cast grease on the alley underneath the kobold if he tries to run. The idea would be to place it where it blocks the kobold but not her allies, and she's holding off on casting in case any of her friends try to dash down the alley in pursuit of the Shifter before the kobold bolts.

Korra runs part way up the alley after the shifter in case he's just waiting around a corner. She knows this is unlikely but letting him just get away doesn't sit right with her.

(She only goes 30 feet from the party and the lone kobold in the alley and then takes an action to make a perception check.
Perception: 1D20+3 = [10]+3 = 13)

Leatherhead

Possibly a Idiot.
Rotom breathes deep and takes out a rope to bind the unconscious goons. Though it pained the kobold to have the main suspect get away, securing two birds in hand is worth more than going after one in the bush. Besides, the job was to get Coal, not whomever was after her.

The last thought gave pause to the artificer. "Is anyone wounded?" She asked her companions, and Coal.

Liutbrand walked to the corpse of what might have a been a kobold druid. He removed the arrow firmly planted in the kobold's eyesocket, and closed her eyes, as a gesture of respect.
He then quickly scanned the body, looking for a druidic focus of some kind.

OOC: Perception check to find a druidic focus, if the kobold has one, or anything else of obvious interest.

The kobold hissed defiantly at Ogham, brandishing his dagger at the warforged druid.

But then DePoe suddenly loomed behind the kobold and cracked it in the head with the pommel of his dagger, sending it to the pavement in a heap.

Korra rushed up the alley after the shifter, but lost him in the crowded streets of the district.

Roto tied up the two kobolds, then turned to see if anyone was injured.

“They hit me a few times,” Coal said, retracting her arm blade and leaning against the wall of the alley, alchemical fluids leaking out of her. “Looks like your friend, too.” She nodded to Ogham.

Liutbrand searched the kobold caster. He didn’t find a druidic focus, but did find a holy symbol of the Dark Six. He also found 7 gp.

The gathered vigilante civilians Alara had recruited started to drift off, seeing Coal was okay and the perpetrators were gone.

Ogham nods at Coal gratefully, but the druidically-inclined warforged decides to help himself rather than rely on the skills of Rotom.

The perpetual green glow from beneath his plating flares and the injuries he had acquired seem to vanish.

OOC: Casting Cure Wounds on himself: 1D8+3 = [1]+3 = 4

Spell slots used: level 1: 1/2
HP: 9/11

"Hmph" Liutbrand's gaze lingered on the unholy symbol "a cleric, then. And of the worst kind". He pocketed the item. Evidence is evidence, after all.
He then waited patiently for his companions to patch the wounded up. For all his past training, Liutbrand hadn't learned how to properly channel nature's magic yet.

OOC: adding 7 gp to the 150 gp reward pouch
