That did the trick, Chrysagon said as he ripped off the foul smelling mask. The corpses can't see anything now. Chrysagon assumed that the eyes and the corpses are connected in some way and convey vision to the corpses.
I'm interested to see what secrets the sarcophagus hold. Myrral and Dellrak, can you help me looking for traps?

Dellrak watched their new yuan-ti allies as they draped a cloak over the eyes on the bronze shield. Chrysagon asked for his help, so the dwarf shrugged. “Sure thing.” He walked over to the nearest sarcophagus to start looking for traps.

(Who is rolling? They should have advantage then.)

Ussal slithered into the chamber as little dragon-thing folded itself back into the armor.
"I have ssome exssperience with trapsss."

He looks around avoiding the center of the room. He check the thrones, around the statue holding the shield (being careful not to disturb the cloak) and only then focusing on the center of the room.

OOC: thieves tools proficiency to disable them :)
Investigation (traps): 1D20+7 = [17]+7 = 24 - if Perception is needed, the roll is only 21 (+4 modifier)

Ussal and Dellrak carefully checked the room, the dais, and around the sarcophagus for traps. Aside from the dormant undead defenders, the room was clear of dangers. The lid of the sarcophagus was heavy and sealed tight.

OOC: dc20 strength check (can be rolled with advantage with help or a pry-bar) to open it.

“Lookin’ safe sae far,” Dellrak reported to the others. He pulled a crowbar from his pack, and with help from the others he worked to see if he could get the heavy lid of the sarcophagus open.

Ussal moves back toward the exit to block any suddenly lunging undead from getting out of the room. But he concentrates hard on the lid, moving it in short pulses of power in concert with the effort of his companions.

OOC: using telekinetic push from the entry tunnel :)

The very heavy stone lid was pried from the top of the sarcophagus and lowered to one side. Inside lay the bones of a zorbo (kind of like a koala). Much of its fur still clung to the bones in a dry heap. On the "belly" of the creature lay a shiny golden ring.

"Here lies the trickster god, Obo'laka." said Qawasha, who had ventured into the room and was peeking over the rim of the sarcophagus while still wearing the form of an ape.
