Silhouette shrugs.

"So one or two of you in disguise will go out, bring him back with you where the rest of us lie in wait. No need to overcomplicate things."

Armides Diat, human Inquisitor of Asmodeus

Armides frowns. He doesn't think Silhouette is thinking everything through.

"I would like to think that I'm rather infamous and that the Warden, at least, knows who I am. And Vordahl is pretty well known. Hells, I heard about his conviction even before he ended up here and his size is legendary. And you and Asseni are difficult to disguise. So," he continues, "That means I'm probably the one that would need to attempt it."

He paces back and forth a bit rubbing his chin and thinking. "I'm positive I could improvise something to lure the Warden out. If we're all willing to risk it."

"Is it a safer plan than smashing his door in and putting a sword through his neck? If he recognizes you, he might have a signal horn of his own. Bring the rest of the guards down. We might not have time to flank them."

"Then lets just go," Silhouette says tartly, her patience fraying a bit. "We have everything we NEED. There'll be time for vengeance later if we survive now. Let him believe he's safe. No one is more vulnerable than the moment they believe themselves safe."

Armides smirks. It's what he really wanted from the beginning anyway.

"Then let's go. More smashing for you soon, Grumblejack."

Armides grabs up his purloined gear and heads to the door. He opens it and looks out, scanning quickly for guards in the courtyard or on the walls. If it's clear he'll boldly walk out an around the corner heading towards the door of the Warden's tower.

Which door? There are two choices. The double doors out the front or the door out the kitchen on the side?

The group heads out of Blackerly's bedroom, through Blackerly's office and into the great hall. Then Armides heads into the mess hall, through the kitchen and out the door. The others head down the hall to the armory, open it with Blackerly's ring of keys and go in to check out what is there.
[sblock=Armides]As you move through the door you note that you do not see any guards on the walls. Heading around the end of the building you finally come to the tower and that is when you notice conversation around the corner where the entrance to the warden's tower is. Action?[/sblock][sblock=Everyone Else]You must grab a torch in order to see in here. What you see are the following: six spare set of gear for guards (chain shirt, heavy steel shield, long sword and longbow), a rack holding a dozen more leather-wrapped clubs, 240 arrows in twelve quivers and a pile of assorted weapons. You hadn't noticed it before but all of the equipment (chain shirt, heavy steel shield, long sword and longbow) bears a mark of Talingarde somewhere on them. This includes the like gear that you have gotten. The clubs and arrows, as well as the pile of weapons are unmarked. In the pile you find a shiv made from a women’s metal comb, a light mace, a heavy mace, a spear, a quarterstaff, a battle axe, a rapier, a great sword, a trident, a glaive and a composite bow.[/sblock]
