Niles inwardly wishes he knew of some arcane way to look for traps, but knows of nothing of the arcane arts to help him. so he puts his smarts to good use. . . . he listens to the others discuss how to find what is hidden..

"I wonder if there is a trap that does not trigger on the first person, but on the next and subsequent persons."

"If we cannot search for traps, then let us just move and come what may. That is, unless each of you wants to wait as I toss chairs down portions of a hallway all day," Lord Nelleon quips.

[section]Cass smirked at Nelleon. Crooked yellow teeth glinted in the dim light of the hallway. "After you, Nelleon." Cass swished his hand with a flourish[/section]

Armides Diat, human Inquisitor of Asmodeus

[section]
Armides gazes with flat, expressionless eyes at Cass but responds to Silhouette's question.

"I thought I had an eye for it. Maybe not." He shrugs and moves to the hall preparing to continue on down it. "I'll have a look anyway."

When Armides makes his report, Lord Nelleon nods and readies his two-handed sword. "Good. Let's go wreck something." The large man heads down the corridor, taking the lead.

[section]Cass adjusted his grip on his longsword and tailed after the others. Nelleon's words stirred remembrance. A desire to swing his once-beloved blade, slice through flesh, smell the iron tang of blood freely flowing. Increasingly cautious since becoming partially blind, however, Cass left a five-foot gap between himself and Silhouette and Niles. Just in case.[/section]

[sblock=ooc]just in case what? Your blade finds Niles' back - not to mention the possible motive of dispensing with possible future retaliation??[/sblock]

Silhouette bites back another reminder that they don't have an infinite amount of time to perform these tasks, and follows the group. She wasn't one for rushing in, but some of the delays seemed to her to be avoidable. Then again, if she started nagging constantly, it would accomplish nothing more than making them all used to ignoring her.

She needed to find some way to help this crew work together, or they'd drag her down with them.

It bore consideration.
