Armides nudges the nearest body with his foot. "What do we do with these? End 'em? Leave 'em to rot? Or do you maybe have a plan for them?" He glances over at Silhouette. "Whatever we do we need to do it fast. I'm pretty sure I heard the alert after our boy here sounded the alarm."

Silhouette nods distractedly.

"We can try to use them as hostages, but that will slow us down," she mutters, then looks up at the others.

"Lets stick to the original plan. We'll release our decoys, then wearing guard uniforms we'll pursue them. We'll have to cross the yard, probably under crossbow fire. We'll shout that one of the decoys is a mage...that should make the guards prioritize them over Grumblejack."

"We'll make it to the guardhouse, kill the guards inside, and leave...jamming the gate behind us so they can't ride us down."

She nods.

"Armides, come with me to get the decoys ready. The rest of you finish these lot off and join us at the front entrance. Quickly."

With that, Silhouette grabs the cloak and helmet off of a fallen guard so she can at least give some appearance of being one of them, and heads to the storeroom to get the prisoners ready to do their rabbit run.
 

Asseni, Tiefling Priest

Asseni clears his throat. "Wait! If the charmed guard that drew the map for Silhouette earlier was correct there was a total of thirteen guards, Blackerly, the warden and three dogs. I count that we have taken care of eleven guards, two dogs, Blackerly and the warden. That only leaves two guards and a dog left. Do you think they are stationed at the gate? That was what he had said was stationed at the gate."

Armides smiles a feral smiles. "Asseni, you're a genius. Hold up, Silhouette, I think I have an idea: if Asseni is correct and there are only two on the gate then we may be able to trick them to come out. Blackerly missed guard rotation. If we can convince them we're to relieve them then we can put them down and make our escape without anyone being the wiser. Or if you don't think that will work we can go with the original plan." He shrugs indifferent to the specific plan but ready to act. Either way he figures he'll have to try to pass as a guard and works to ready his disguise.

Silhouette pauses, running over the map in her head. Damnit...he was right. She'd gotten caught up in her plots again...planning for the sake of planning, while losing track of the facts on the ground. That sort of thing is what had gotten her caught in the first place. Disturbing to think she'd learned nothing.

Well then.

"It will be easier to deal with them if they come out to us rather than stand on the wall," Silhouette muses aloud, then turns to look at the others. "Right then, try to lure them out to help. They will have heard the horn, but probably are under orders not to leave their post. If you can't get them to come help 'secure the prisoners,' then we'll release the decoys and storm the gate."
 

Vordahl picks up his glaive before walking over to the still living dog. With a satisfied smile, he slits its throat with the blade before walking over to the warden. “Grumblejack. There is still some smashing to do, and it needs to be done quickly, sadly. There are so many things I want to do to the dear warden.” He kneels down. “This will have to do.” He begins using the pole of the weapon to strangle the incapacitated warden. “Make your decisions, I don’t care if we distract them or run them over and throw them off the bridge. In fact, I’m all for throwing them off the bridge.”

Armides checks his disguise as a guardsman. He thinks it looks ok; it'll have to do regardless. "Ok, if I don't make it back... Burn this place to the ground." He grins and steps outside.

Armides will move towards the gate looking for the remaining guards. When he sees them he'll wave his arms and call out. "Hey! Hey! The demned ogre got loose! Captain's got him corralled but we needs you ta help get him in tha cell and get stronger chains on 'im this time!"

Grumblejack comes over to where Vordahl is and shrugs. "What is there to smash? They all down."

Meanwhile, Armides heads out of the great hall (8) through the main doors, across the courtyard next to the fountain (4) and out through the gate house (3) on his way down the road to the bridge (2). Then he will cross over to the guard house (1).

That will take a while. What are the rest of you doing?
