Pielorinho
Iron Fist of Pelor
My next PC, starting at fourth level, is gonna be a creepy little girl, scarred by a bad childhood (and I do mean bad), who's spent something akin to decades of time trapped in a nightmarish magical coma before being rescued. Physically she's ten, excepting the white hair and foot-long fingernails; intellectually she's thirty or so.
I'm blithely ignoring all the age rules, though, and will be treating her in all ways as if she's a halfling: much easier that way. I want her to be a necromancer wizard/rogue, who will eventually work toward the Arcane Trickster class.
HOUSE RULES:
Due to a campaign quirk (some PCs are using Arcana Unearthed rules, and we want a level playing field), everyone starts with one extra feat.
It's 32-point buy.
Spot/Listen combined into Perceive; Hide/Move SIlently combined into Sneak; Balance/Jump/Swim/Climb combined into Athletics.
Familiars disallowed; replaced by ability to specialize in a school without giving up other schools.
Here's what I'm thinking, characterwise:
Rog1/Wiz3
Halfling
S 8
D 18
C 14
I 17
W 10
Ch 10
Feats: Weapon Finesse; Spell Focus (Necromancy); Greater Spell Focus (Necromancy)
Skills: 5 ranks in Know (Arc), Spellcraft, and Concentration; 4 ranks in Craft (Alch), Sneak, Perceive, Bluff, Disable Device, Open Lock, Decipher Script, Escape Artist, Search, Sleight of Hand, and Tumble
Spells: A normal assortment of spells.
Equipment: Ring of Prot +1, Heward's Handy Belt (same item, different appearance), and a few knicknacks
Basic idea: Go around with Mage Armor up. In battle, cast Shield, increasing AC to 24; then cast Chill Touch in order to do sneak touch attacks for 2d6 points of damage/round. Use Rays of Enfeeblement as appropriate.
Any ideas on this build? I'll be going to level 5 necromancer, then getting two more levels of rog, before entering Arcane Trickster class; I would like the character to focus on debilitating people and not on buffing people. Originally I thought of taking Combat Expertise and Improved Feint, but I'm not sure how useful it'd end up being, especially not before I pump up my sneak attack damage.
Thanks!
Daniel
