If you could Add one more race to the PHB

Love them. Of course, I'm just fine with the Core races as is.

I think I would add a race which is fairly common in (almost) every setting, such as Orc or Planetouched. Otherwise I'd go with Lizardfolk.

I am torn between two of the Eberron races: Changelings and Shifters. The former are just plain disturbing, the latter are a driven people. If I had to pay a price for adding them, I'd lose the 'half' races.

A small race that isn't Gnomes or silly Halflings. I'd say Goblins or Kobolds but their stats are just too penalized.

Half-ogres.

Ever since 1st edition I've wanted to include this as a PC race. I would make them a LA+0, medium-sized race... more human than ogre.

The various Spirit Folk from the Oriental Adventures and [Something] East (an FR supplement).

The Sea Kin from Races of Destiny.

A winged race, or a Giant race ala Monte Cook's giants.

First, I would get rid of the half-elves and the half-orcs. As I mentioned on one of the race survivor threads, the number of inter-race relations required to make each a separate race boggles the mind.

In place of the half-orc, I'll add the original, unadulterated orc.

I'll fill the half-elf slot with the shifter because they have the bestial connection with nature schtick, and that will give me the perfect excuse to get rid of wild elves.

The new race I'll add is the warforged, because of the RP potential of playing a sentient construct.

Lizardmen and a small sprite type of creature... not quite the sprites from the MM as they'd be too powerful, but just a tiny race with wings and very low Con score.

I'd remove gnomes and add orcs and something else. Probably something large - or tiny and/or flying.
