Hahaha! Yes! After I read your Orb ridiculousness I told some of the players about it and they whined about it being broken. However, in this campaign I'm running 9 players 8 of which are homebrews. IMO nothing is broken against homebrew characters.

FWIW I DM'd a vow of poverty monk which looked good on paper, but was utterly boring for the player to play, and was so terribly limited in all kinds of out of combat situations through not having magic items. Sure he could fight, but that was a low proportion of the adventure.
