I'm doing an online Fantasy comic

Romus

First Post
I only have a few panels done so far, you can check them here. I plan on updating the story over time and will hopefully be able to get a following for it and publish the real deal in the future. Please let me know what you think. I'm doing this fairly sloppy, kinda like Blade of the Immortal.

Click on the panel to move to the next panel.

Damn your comic rules!!!

Infinitely better than the ziggy freelance ripoffs (so sick of comics always thinking they must be "comical")

Thanks, look for an extra panel or two added by the end of the week. I have a job, so I can only work on this in my spare time :)

Thanks.

I would really like to hear, even though it's not much to go on:

1. Does it have you asking questions, or does it have you interested?
2. What do you think of the format (one panel at a time, not full colored)
3. What's cool or not cool.

Let me know anything! good or bad :)

It works, indeed. The lack of colour just makes it that much bleaker, always a good thing in the snow (in fact, my own webcomic's going into snowy lands soon, and I'd decided months ago to use monochrome instead of my normal colour). The art's great. And the story's interesting - it's nice to start out with what might be bad guys, but might not. Raises questions as to the quarry and the morality of the situation...

The one-panel-at-a-time thing could work, or might not. If you were going to do more than one per page, I'd pay especial attention to how they interact - layout and page flow are very important tools, I've found, and things that look fine apart may look completely different together.

Just something to think about...
