I thought the Joe Schmoe Show was fun periodicly, even if I only cought a couple episodes flipping through channels, but I normally avoid reality TV like the plague, because, like others have said, it's not reality.
Of course, that was sorta the whole point with the Joe Schmoe show
I also watched a couple episodes of Scare Tactics, which is I guess *kinda* reality TV... But I stoped watching that for two conflicting reasons... Only one of them is valid, but I don't know which one. But either one is a reason not to watch it.
I either object to it moral grounds, or for reasons of innanity. On the moral side, I think it's a horrible, cruel show, and potentialy dangerous (I've seen people do some very stupid-risky stuff to 'escape' from the show... and it's only a matter of time until one of them fights back against one of the various "madmen" or "undead zombies."
On the other hand, so many of them are just stupid... undead zombies, mutant men, you name it... and with horrible acting and concepts... That I just can't believe anyone actually falls for them, unless they were the dumbest people on the face of the earth. And the camera angles and shots in some of them are so perfect that I can't see how they were got from "hidden" cameras, not to mention angles that should just be impossible from the set they are in.
And I couldn't get rid of a my television... I like DVDs too much. I could get rid of cable if it wasn't for Stargate, 'cause the only other shows I watch anymore are on Fox (King of the Hill religiously, Simpsons and Malcom in the Middle (Hey, I like it, shut up.

) when the mood strikes me, and I can get fox via antena.
Of course, I get basic cable with my cable modem anyhow, and it wasn't much more to get Sci-Fi, so I'm not going to be getting rid of cable anytime soon either
