Gamers are a funny bunch. I don't know whether it's just being cheap, or just poor financial management skills, but as hobbies go, getting years of value out of a $100 investment is pretty economical. I mean, if you own a car, think about how many hundreds of dollars goes into that investment on a monthly basis.Doctor DM said:I'm really happy with 3.5, I have a ton of money invested in it, and have been playing it for a long time. I don't care about 4E. I'm sure it will be awesome and really cool, but I don't think I'm going to spend 100 + dollars on it when I already have a great game.
Anyone else with me?
No. 3E works in most respects. All it needs is 'tweaking'. 4E will still be d20. There will still be classes and levels, a plethora of monsters and magic items.Razz said:Seriously, think about it folks. 4E warrants a HUGE change, like 3E was to 2E, right?
