Imp. Bull Rush and Overrun

IME, these two Feats are rarely taken.
I'm not sure if it's the Feats that are weak, or the mechanic itself.

I'm also considering of melding these two feats into one.

But it seems that the maneuver itself isn't that useful to justify a Feat.

As a DM, I use them quite a bit, but that's because I am often playing a creature 2-4 size categories larger than the characters. I think rolling them into one isn't a bad idea, but even better would be to make each of them individually a bit more powerful. How, I don't know...

Rolling them into one shouldn't be too unbalancing. I think if you allow Half-Giants, Goliaths, or quadrapeds in your games you'll see an increased interest in these feats.

+4 to STR check and no AoO for 1 feat?
Sounds like a fair trade to me.

IBR isn't taken because it isn't a popular tactic - throwing yourself at the enemy and pushing him back, thereby placing yourself as the most obvious target. Can be very useful, though, to set up a Whirlwind Attack.

The main problem is bullrushing and overruning are very niche situations for most players, never a common battletactic. While the feats make these manuevers much more desirable, your still using a feat for a rarely used manuever.

ITs like a feat that gave +5 to caster levels.....but only while casting plant growth.
