Impressions of the classes so far

I'd just like to add something about the classes, especially the Unfettered(since I haven't seen it said by anyone else, but if I missed it, sorry about that).

Many of them fit lots of different archetypes. It's something I didn't pick up on initially. But say you wanted to make a "Conan the Barbarian" type character. You might initially think "ok, Warmain." But, I think Unfettered fits him a little better.

Give your Unfeterred a greatsword and a loincloth, and I think you're all set. I saw the build for a character similar to this on Monte's website. It's very viable, and I love that the Unfettered (and the other AU classes) don't *have* to be anything. As specific as they are, they can still fit a lot of generic archetypes as well.

For anyone who is interested, I am playing an AU game (I think it is Plague of Dreams, but I am really not sure of the module name), with some journal entries keeping track of our progress.

Warning, there ARE SPOILERS in the journal entries, so do not read them if you are playing this module.

I am playing Dain, the Akashic, and loving it so far. I've found the Akashic to be so extremely universally useful that I cannot imagine having ever played in a campaign without the Akashics.

I'm considering retiring my epic level monk and replacing him with a 12 Unfettered/12 Mageblade. Statting that bad boy up results in a pretty cool character. I still need to work on the spell casting end, as so far he's a serious swordsman but a weak spellslinger.

Some feats, some spell selection, and some cool ideas ought to help that out, tho.
