Impromptu Sneak Attack vs Kelubar Uncanny Dodge

Kelubar's are Demodands found in the Fiend Folio. Impomptu Sneak is found in the DMG under the Arcane Trickster. The question is does Impromptu work against the Kelubar Uncanny Dodge ability? Why or why not?

I don't have Fiend Folio, but does it work just like a Barbarian's Uncanny Dodge?

Impromptu Sneak Attack simply denies the target his Dex bonus. Uncanny Dodge lets you retain your Dex bonus when flat-footed or struck by an invisible attacker, but ISA is neither of those situations, and therefore UD would not prevent an Impromptu Sneak Attack.

There's frequently argument as to whether UD protects against more than just those two situations (hinging on one's reading of the word 'even') - for example, against a Bluff-to-Feint - but word from official sources has tended to favour the "complete list" rather than "couple of examples" reading.

I just checked and it does indeed.

Impromptu Sneak Attack is basically "I sneak attack you even though I can't," and is not protected against by Uncanny Dodge.

Our groups discussion...

Our group discussed it when it came up and decided (at the time and before I posted the question here) that as per RAW Impromptu Sneak Attack would work, however as per intent we felt that the Kelubar Uncanny Dodge seemed to imply that it would stop it. At the time I just ruled that it did not work, however I think I may choose the RAW version after all.
