Incomplete Hunter and Hexblade classes in DDi Compendium?

Incorrect information from the online Compendium sometimes really throws me off. I was trying to look up the exact wording of the avenger channel divinity that gives ally a reroll to see if it could be done for ranged attacks. So I look at the avenger class, find the CD power, and it is nothing like what I remember, giving a reroll to a skill check or save. I think to myself, what's going on? Did I miss a major errata? I want to search for the power under powers, but I can't remember the exact name of the power. So I do a search for "avenger channel divinity" find Divine Guidance there, and then I realize the other power had a different name, Divine Fate (which didn't sound right to begin with but I thought maybe it's a new alternate avenger CD). Going back to the avenger class description, I realize Divine Fate is a feat power, I do a search for the feat and find out it's a feat that a revenant with CD can take, has nothing to do with Avenger.

Stuff like this just increases my frustration level. I mean it's a big content management project and all, but a little bit of QA would go a long way.

It's missing info that should be in there.

Even worse is that it was in there before they did the change to make the immediate interrupt part of it into a power writeup (which is a good idea). The same thing happened with Warlock's Curse, which is not in power format in the PHB, but is in the Compendium... except they actually included the power writeup of Warlock's Curse.

And now with the stuff wrong with the Avenger, Hunter, and Hexblade, they really really really need to get their stuff together and get these entries fixed.

We're all saying the same thing; I'm just being kind of jerky about it. ;)

The Compendium has been incomplete since day one.

Complaining about it just now because of Hunter and Hexblade is... a little late to the party, frankly.

The Compendium is NOT a replacement for the books. It is just a quick reference tool. It is NOT meant to replace using the books to make characters.
I like the way the word "not" is bolded and underlined here. There is a serious lack of overassertive presumption of authority on the internet these days. Nice to see the void being filled.

There's also some "stealth errata" going on. The Shadow Knives assassin power has been changed from the original version in Dragon without any update being posted.

Hexblades and hunters are complete. Just not in one entry. You can look up any power of theirs.

Type in Aspect of the Pouncing Lynx. It's there. It just takes a bit longer to build characters by that method.

I am not familiar that much with the Assassin since I have never played one.

But are you looking at the compiled Magazine or looking at the pdf of the Article. If its the latter they make changes in the compiled version of the magazine which is why saving copies of the pdfs of articles is not of much use.

So wait, the fan-made CBLoader patch is...more up to date then WotC's official one?

Nice one, Wotc.

Fans don't have superiors to report to, deadlines and schedules to meet, and meetings to attend. They also have the luxury of spending as much time as they want doing what they want, whenever they want, whereas the paid employee does not (and he certainly isn't going to do a ton of free work on something he normally gets paid to do). There's more to being an employed programmer than just writing code.
