Waiting for more input...

We still need to hear from Issic, Phaidon and India before we can really start dividing stuff up.

I was guessing that the Tome of Leadership and Influence was going to be the big item. I want it for turning and leadership, Zog wants it for all his Cha based skills, India will want it for spells and Cha based skills and Issic may even want it for leadership and Phaidon may want it for increased animal companion HD. I see three fair solutions....

1) We have Vince or someone similarly unbiased roll a die for each char, highest number gets 1st pick and so on. That way everybody gets to pick something they want but no one gets everything they want. The down side to this is someone will be last.

2) The GP value of the treasure is used to divide the treasure into 5 equal parts and someone (again probably Vince) takes a D10 assigns us each 2 numbers and then rolls for each pile until we each end up with 1/5 of the treasure. This I think is the worse option because what happens if, for example, Phaidon is the one that gets the +5 Brilliant Energy Greatsword he doesn’t want.

Or the much simpler option

3) We let India have it. It is something that will increase her primary ability and thus her spell casting and we have all benefited from her spell casting (be it healing of buff spells) in the past and the more spells she can cast the more she can help us. And in the past items that increase stats have always gone to the char with that primary stat. The down side to this is Zog, Issic, Phaidon and Alex, who are supposed to be these super charismatic leaders all still have cha stats in the 13-14 range, while India’s is over 20. So I guess that would show that actions that make great leaders, not personalities!

If I had to pick between the two I would vote for 3 but I am open to other options.

BTW Phaidon, do we know how much the Tome will increase Char?

That is one of the reasons I listed Zografos' list of preferences. I doubt anyone else wants the manual of flesh golems. So the next thing on his list would be the slippers of spiders climbing. If Zografos can get those two instead of the tome of leadership he has no real problems giving up his claim towards the tome.

Why don't we just list what we would like in order of preference and after everyone does that we can decide if he need to randomly determine who gets the tome? If Alexander and Zografos are the only two that put the tome as their top pick then we can work that out.

Thinking about it now, I think we should only take 3 or 4 items a piece and leave the rest to help empower/finance the ambassador.

Oh yeah, Zografos' tiny dragon wants to know if she gets a share of the treasure as well? Her preferences are the amulet of mighty fists +5, ring of animal friendship, ring of greater fire resistance, gloves of dexterity +4, bracers of armor +1

Of course if you want it bad enough maybe you can convince me to not object by relinquishing your claim to some of the other items.

The Manual of Flesh Golems isn't an evil book. Chris already knows what Zografos plans on doing with it. Muahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!

Zografos has no ill intentions concerning the book of flesh golems. With it, Zografos will set into motion the event that will completely free Inzeladun from the mindflayers so we can all move along to the golden age of the undead.

India isn't a spell caster anymore... She doesn't need it.

How much? What are the options. Guess I forgot to look it up.

Well, I just hit the SRD. It's a +4 Tome.

Phaidon says he doesn't want it. He says, that according to the DMG, the Amulet of the Planes and the tome are both nearly equal in value. Zog should take the tome and Alexander should take the amulet.

Head band- increases my int which is my primary abilities for psionics and increases my Kn(skills)
Iron Flask- I just put it on my list because I might want to try and catch one of the devils that are always on our tails. I don't really have a specific use in mind for it so if you want it you can have it.

Concerning Flesh Golems: Fair enough but I want know about your plans. You are not to sale the book or services from the book to anyone. Flesh Golems are not to be created inside Alisander or any property that is an official office of Alisander or the Temple of Athena. The one exception to this is you are set up a lab in the Blood Owl base on the now purged flayer isle. There as part of your research you must also look for a method for returning people that have been turned into flesh golem back into (if not normal humanoids) less monstrous versions of themselves and how to defeat flesh golems that might be used by vampires against us. In return for this assignment and following the limitations you will receive partial funding from the Alisander treasury. Is this acceptable?

Alexander can have the headband. It is higher on his want list. Zografos would be happy to take the iron flask. It will help out a lot whenever he strikes off on his own again.

As for setting up a lab to study half-golems and golems Zografos has no interest in doing that himself. He does know of a few people that would be more than happy to look into that kind of research if backed with funding. Zografos can set that into motion for you.
