Ink & Quill: Who uses it?/What elements do you use?

Just curious to see who uses this book. I have mine all printed out, cover to cover.

Ilike pretty much everything in it and use it all. My favorite part is Chapter 7. I have on more than one occassion given parties Magical Books that granted an ability to one character that was based off a creature. The constructs are pretty sweet too, my fave being the Coal Golem.

I used some things from it but while it is a great book; the focus just was never what we were doing in D&D. So, while as a Player I could use bits of it knowing the DM would not fully embrace it or as a DM I would use parts and the PCs never fully embraced it. Great book for the right people. I never had that.

 

[Wycen]

I used the scholar PrC and a couple spells for a 3.0 game years ago. Unfortunately, the combination of classes didn't work well for this game, I didn't know it was high power and the scholar's spell casting ability became a weakness.

Of course, I now realize the wizard in my high level game might like some of the book-utility spells, as long as he finds them in a spell book.
