Insight bonus -- pricing

Insight bonuses are priced the same as Luck bonuses...

= bonus squared x 2500 gp.

In that you wish to do both +4 attack and +4 AC on the same item, I would price it at

[(4)^2 *2500] * 2

or 80,000 gp.

As far as other sources providing Insight bonuses, I am not sure about the core books, but psychic warriors have a couple of powers with them.

Yep, I do :)

Check the prices listed for the Moonstone Master's Third Eye found here

The cost for these were determined with the following formula

bonus squared * 2500gp * 2 (non-slot item, cost is doubled).

I asked my editor what I should use, and suggested the luck price. She and R&D agreed.

[Now I just hope the link works]

Hmm. Interesting...

I definately need to keep looking into this. Thanks for your input. Very nice article, by the way!

Ack, I made just a small error on the cost, and for some reason I can't edit my post above so...

the first +4 insight bonus costs 40,000gp, but the second should be double, or 80,000gp.

the second effect is basically a non-slot item.

So, the final price should be 120,000gp.

I hate it when I miss things like that.

Thanks. I had a lot of fun with that one.
