Sedar
Rupa shifts his gaze to make a quick sweep of the room before he speaks. "It is wonderful to receive the occasional letter, is it not? Why don't you enjoy this ale on the house for making the trek over here?" He sets his hand over yours and you feel a coin pressed against your hand. He says quietly, "If you wait here for but a moment, I may have a message you can carry back." He moves his hand down to the top of the letter to pull it away.

Bloodtalon
The ears of the gnolls almost seem to perk up in interest as Bloodtalon tells them about the shipment. The leader considers what you've said for a moment before speaking, "If you speak truth, it is of interest to us. Continue."

Sedar
The bartender takes the letter and slips out from behind the bar to enter a door near the back. Rupa returns a few minutes later with a look of concern on his face. He moves over to you and slips a letter and a small pouch into your hand. He says, "Thank you for bringing that letter. I'll be sure it gets immediate attention. Please take this small token of appreciation for delivering it." He bids you farewell and returns to the backroom.

Bloodtalon
The gnolls listen intently as you fill in a few more details and present them with the letter. They study it carefully and take a few moments to talk amongst themselves in their native tongue. Finally the leader speaks to you. "This is important news you have brought us. The Daask rewards those who serve it well. Take this and go." He counts out a handful of gold coins and drops them in a sack, then tosses it to you. The hobgoblin opens the door and ushers you outside.

Everyone
When you open the bags you received from your criminal contacts, you find that they contain 25 gold pieces. Later that day, Sedar and Bloodtalon meet Johanel above Lower Tavick's Landing. With both groups successfully alerted, they should now be moving quickly to protect/raid the shipment tonight. Reunited, you are ready to descend once more into the Cogs and renter Khyber's Gate.

Having turned over the letter successfully with no small amount of bluffing, Bloodtalon is glad to be out of the strong hold of his sworn enemies. He can only hope that they fall for it and die to the Boromar. Returning to Johanel and Sedar he says, "I take it things went well for you if you are here in one piece Sedar. We must move quickly to capitalize on our gambit."

"It was not without danger, yes, but those Daask cretins will pay for inflict Malleon's Gate with their poisons. As if we didn't have enough problems down there. Let's head back towards Cask's shop. They should be leaving soon and I want to make sure that he has moved out already before we try to get in there." replies Bloodtalon.

The return trip into Khyber's Gate is slow as you do your best to be unobserved by the larger groups of humanoids. As the hour grows late more and more strange beings stir and emerge from their homes. The few humans that dwell on this level seem to have disappeared for the night. Goblins seem to be everywhere, along with a growing number of larger humanoids. Bloodtalon and Sedar slip along the back streets easily, but you wince every time you hear Johanel bump into something.

After a long, harrowing trek you find your way back to the intersection in front of the Shamukaar bar. The area seems pretty busy as individuals and groups stream inside. A heavy drum beat and a cacophony of loud voices reverberates from inside. A quick check of the area uncovers a back alley that leads around behind the bar to the small road leading to "The Wounded Dragon". You see a single goblin, apparently asleep, next to a pile of garbage outside the shop. The shop itself is dark, you can't see any light coming from inside.
