I'm going to bump this so more people can get involved. I plan on writing something, but am busy atm. How long do you intend to keep the quiz open, Rune?

As things stand now, there is no time limit on the qualifying round, but that may change, soon: It is important not to wait too long before beginning. Otherwise, the earlier entrants might not be available by the time the actual Tournament begins.

Two things to point out, however:

Entrants must complete their submissions (with the appropriate button at the bottom of the screen) before they can be considered for scoring!

Even though there is no time limit, currently, do not spend too long polishing your qualifying round entry! Doing so in future rounds will be impossible, so you'd best not get used to having time!

Iron DM is very difficult, by design. The time-limit is the hardest, but most important part of that!

The 48 hour limit on future rounds is not for your benefit! It is simply to make scheduling match-ups easier! 24 hours is a reasonable time-limit for submission...and that's being generous! The very first Iron DM had a one hour time limit on submissions.

I know there will be wails of dismay at the news, but I thought I'd come out and say that I've signed on with Rune as a Judge for this round of Iron DM.

I've judged several rounds so far, including the most recent -- I was also an entrant back in the early days.

We can talk more about the details of the tournament later, but for now, bring it on!
