WTF? Sorry in advance if I'm derailing the conversation here, but where do you live?
Wichita, Kansas. 75,000 homes (That's out of 300,000 people) without power for the better part of a week. It didn't make the news even in other parts of Kansas because even Kansans don't really care about Kansas. When Boeing leaves the economy will collapse and the city will hollow out like a gold rush town. Seriously though, it's a great place, birthplace of Pizza Hut!

How the freak could a city like Wichita go without power for so many for a week???

I lost my job on March 1st to an Indian. My tax return is going towards keeping me afloat while I look for a job. Had 2 interviews so far, and 2 rejections. I feel sooo much better about myself... :\

I couldn't resist though; I did buy a bag of minis (historicals, if you like that thing...)

Damon.

Being a contractor I usually have to pay, but this year I was blindsided by the excesive amount the government is demanding. I feel like I've just been sodomized by a bus.

Who needa a tax return for a gaming spending spree? I just got paid last week, and that was enough excuse for me to drop $95 on gaming books :)

My refund went into an investment that spurred a gaming buying spree, and yeah, I'm going to be adding some allowances.
