I saw an ad on Sci-fi saying that the new season of episodes will start in January, but maybe they meant the new season of showing repeats? I thought the show was cancelled, but I won't complain if it's been uncancelled.

Farscape is still cancelled, but they haven't shown the rest of the episodes from the current season. The notice that Farscape was cancelled was issued tot he actors on the day they wrapped up shooting on the final episode of the season.
I guess we'll see that episode in April or May.

Yeah, the rest of the season will continue in January. If the rest of season 4 does well in the ratings SciFi may reopen talks with Henson about the show. As it stands now, the official Farscape site says they are working on a movie and a few other things to make the show continue.
Also, I was at the most recent NY Farscape Con and the 5 actors that were there were dissappointed that the show was cancelled. Claudia Black (Aeryn) seemed to be hit the hardest followed by Gigi Edgley (Chiana). Almost all of them spoke about the last day on the set and everyone said that if the show came back they would jump back on in a heartbeat.
The other actors that there were Wayne Pygram (Scorpius), Anthony Simcoe (Dargo) and Virginia Hey (Zhaan). They all spoke very highly of the show. They were all fun. *sigh *

What has ticked me about it is SciFi handling of the whole thing (and I have wrote them on it).

It's official - the SciFi Channel sucks. It has always sucked. Farscape was only on there by mistake.
That's why it got cancelled. Some suit at SciFi said to themselves "You know, this show just doesn't suck enough. Let's kill it."
