I mean "The Doctor has to fight a villain in Disneyland" seems like it could be fun.
For some reason I read it as:
The Doctor has to fight a disneyland.

As in a living dungeon made-up of macabre US-pop art culture references.

With strong Five Nights at Freddy's vibes.

Hmm. Sounds like a plan.

I love the Timothy Dalton appearance as Rassilon. He has long been my favorite James Bond, I always like seeing him show up in character roles (he had one of the best in Hot Fuzz). Here he isn't on screen that much but he absorbs all of your attention.
Have you watched Penny Dreadful or The Doom Patrol? He's about half the reason I watched them, and loved them. I just feel like he can do no wrong
The Waters of Mars really holds up.
One of my favorites, in part because it really shows just how dangerous The Doctor is when they're alone.

I haven’t seen those. But I watch very little TV. I am like this guy when it comes to following most series. I think the only recent shows I have seen are Doctor Who and Cobra Kai. I watch a ton of movies though

I agree. It is one of the things that made the show so interesting for me. Looking forward to wife’s reaction to season 5 (she love Van Gogh so curious how Vincent will land)

Just made it through episode 4 of series five with my wife. I skipped Victory of the Daleks as my wife is kind of tired of them. So far she is liking series five. Being in HD really helps sell it. I remember really liking this season. So far the episodes are holding up

Ah, skipping the Dalek Power Rangers - the most doomed of doomed rebranding attempts.

I wish they had given them at least a fair shot, because I thought it was a neat idea to give the Daleks sort of a caste system. I prefer iDaleks to Power Ranger Daleks, though.

Finished episode 5 (Flesh and Stone) and Episode 6 (Vampires of Venice). I still have to say the angels are the scariest monster on the show. I recall them getting over used towards the end of the smith era, but here they remained highly effective. Two very solid episodes. Overall I am really impressed with how well this season holds up and how how the episodes flow from one to the other (the tonal shift from 5 to 6 feels correct). My wife's face lit up when Amy started coming onto the Doctor after the angel episodes. The energy this season works really well
