D&D 5E Is there a point in getting mage hand and Pact of The Chain

So when coming up with ideas for what pact familiars can do, something I thought about was how much they can carry. An Imp familiar can carry 45 pounds in total it can go 100ft away, lasts forever and if you wanted to you can have him go invisible. Is there any reason why a Chainlock should get Mage Hand? The only thing I can think of is Mage Hand can’t be destroyed but that’s it.

Cheaper to set off traps with mage hand than with the familiar.

Your familiar is a celestial, fey, or fiend, and there are spells that limit their use (in particular Hallow and Forbiddance). 99 out of a 100 games, that won't come up, but....
