AKA "Deedlit's legacy", or "elven Q-tips"
Small Exotic Weapon, cost 150 gp, damage 1d6/1d6 (piercing), crit x3, weight negligible
These sharpened spikes are about six inches long, and designed to fit over a character's ears. In addition to requiring pointy ears, you must have an Exotic Weapon Proficiency to use elven earspikes.
Elven earspikes come in matched pairs, and are treated as a double weapon. You can fight with elven earspikes as if fighting with two weapons, but you incur all the normal attack penalties associated with fighting with two weapons as if you were using a one-handed weapon and a light weapon. An elven monk can use her flurry of blows ability with elven earspikes.
If you use a ready action to plant yourself into the ground, you deal double damage with your elven earspikes against a charging opponent. You also deal double damage with your elven earspikes when used from the back of a charging mount.
