It's a white Christmas!

This is the first time in years we've had snow for Christmas! It started last night, and is still snowing. We've got about 8 inches!

Amazingly, just under an inch here in the DC area...very nice, only the second time in 20 years we've had a significantly white christmas...growing up in Maine and Michigan, I kinda took'em for granted...

Then again, in southeastern Wisconsin, we haven't gotten more than a quarter inch total... The ground is white due to salt, not snow!

In Finland, we have more snow than we want or need... It's the white crap of the skies, it is. I don't know how many inches we got, but judging by how our concrete yard turtle is buried, it's about six or seven...
