Demi: That was evil, and totaly pointless... :D

Narleth: Dire vermin are called Monstrous Vermin... There are three sorts in the MM: Scorpions, Spiders, and Centipedes. If you are nice I *might* make Monstrous Dragonflies and Monstrous Beetles. ;)

Ferret: Dire Ferrets? Aren't they the same as the Dire Weasel? As for the lycanthropes, due to the changes of the lycanthropic template, I will no longer be able to create new lycantropes. Basically you add the HD, Saves, and Physical stats of the animal to the inflicted character, there are some other stuff too, but I suggest you get the book to figure it out.

Any other suggestions for dire animals?

Maybe, but this thread is about animals, not vermin. :D

Any suggestions for new dire animals at all?

Watch for the dire platypus and squirrel, as well as the megalosquirrel, coming in a book (working title Adversity) being worked on by myself and a few other folks...

Hmm, Suggestions...
A Dire Cheetah would be nice.
Also there's a bit of a lack of sea creatures.
I'm sure some of these have been done but a dire Baracuda or a dire Octopus (that rings a bell so i think it might be around already) would be nice.
Oh and a Dire Kangaroo :D:D
