Lightning angels appear as beautiful humans wrapped in metal wires that buzz with electricity. A lightning angel fights with an electrical passion, seeking to vaporize evil where it is found.

Combat
Lightning angels love to use the quicken spell-like ability feat, so that they may blast away with lightning and enjoy the rapture of righteous combat with evil in the same round.

Spell-Like Ablilities: At will - aid, color spray, cure light wounds, detect evil, dispel magic, lightning bolt, and see invisibility; 3/day - Chain Lightning.

Electrification (Su): A metallic weapon wielded by a lightning angel is deals an additional 1d6 electricity damage. This stacks with any shock or shocking burst properties the weapon may have. Someone who deals damage to a lightning angel with a metal weapon is subject to 1d6 electricity damage as well.

Righteous Lightning (Su): Any electrical effects generated within 60 feet of a lightning angel are considered to be half divine energy, and thus, half of all electricity damage is not subject to electricity resistance.

Celestial Qualities: Protective aura, electricity and petrification immunity, cold and acid resistance 20, tongues, +4 save against poison.

An interesting celestial. The math seems to add up in all cases, and the CR seems fitting.

Is there a special reason for the comparably low Con score?
 

I felt the low con w/ high dex is appropriate for lightning, fast, but not tough.

Dya think a Lightning Angel fits into the Summon Monster tables?

Knight: I don't have that particular dragon article, would It be to much to ask for you to send me the summoning guidelines as I am in need of them? If not, could you please tell me what # of dragon these quidelines could be found in, so I would have a chance to find it?

I'll go looking for it later today. It's mostly based on CR.
 


Heh, there are certain other features it could be based upon, such as hit dice, flight, intelligence, spell-like abilities... ;)


Of course, they all affect CR, so this is an obvious starting point. :D
