It's in my hands...

Oh, on Disc I, there is an Easter Egg. It's in the same place where one of the Easter Eggs was in the FotR extended version. I won't spoil it for you, but I had already seen it. OK, here's a spoilerish hint:
It's from the MTV Movie Awards.

FotR was about the best movie evar.

TTT disappointed me very much.

Extended Edition fixed TTT for me.

I'm very happy now.

That's good to know, since I won't be able to watch TTT EE until this weekend, as it's rather hard for me to set aside nearly 4 hours of free time on a weeknight.

BTW, TTT EE does make the actual film nearly 4 hours in length now, right? Does anyone know the EE's exact running time?

Olgar, this is one of those little situations in life where you are supposed to just say "Honey, I'm buying it, and I won't hear a word against it".

Of course, I'm not married, and currently don't even have a girlfriend, so I may not be the best one for advice on this...

Then again, this makes for an excellent reason not to get tied down with an SO in the first place. Freedom, baby! Only person to determine how my funds are spent is me. :D

I skipped the gollum statue and the gift box and just got the extended box set.

I'm thrilled with the extended version. I'll never watch the theater version again.

I also highly suggest checking out the documentary on disk three called: From Book to Script: Finding the Story. It goes into why they made the changes they did, very informative. I'm glad they took the time to explain why they made the choices they did, very informative for the book purist people.
