I haven't seen any tip'o'the'hat or tribute-y material referring to / aimed at that one California baseball team published in any adventure or sourcebook, ever, so we should conclude WotC is trying to make the team disappear via silence?

I always thought it was obvious that because you got 3 duplicates of yourself when casting Mirror Image that it was official... WotC hates Twins.

Not so. At least angels get representation in the game. Other Upper-Plane celestials, on the other hand, completely get the shaft—where are the gaurdinals, (celestial) eladrin, and archons?

It's fairly obvious they have a huge bias towards that team from Texas. I mean, their mascot is a class for crying out loud! How much more preferential can you get?

I think they hate Tennessee's professional football team. I mean, their mascot was in the original Monster Manual, but is nowhere to found now--I mean as an actual entry, not just a title attached to another creature.
