I don't visit any sports messageboards, to stay in the picture. Real persons (as opposed to people that post on messageboards) are a completely different story.Nightfall said:So I guess you don't like sports much either huh?![]()

Odhanan said:I suspect the sheer size of the boards myself. I just have a really hard time to find anything there. When I do find a thread somewhere that's interesting, it's extremely hard to find it back. I guess that's the amount of forums, and all the cross-referencing between categories that throws me off.
He obviously didn't succeed. Fortunately for you, your chance of getting strangled on a messageboard is next to nil. Which should be enough to illustrate the difference between a messageboard and RL.Nightfall said:Really? How so? I mean there are some pretty brutal RL fans. I know, I had one nearly choke me once.
That might play an additional role. On a mid-sized messageboard, you get the chance to get to know some people better, which usually makes it easier to understand their posts, because you get a feeling for how to fill the blanks. Of course, too small isn't good, either. That's not a good basis for diversified discussions.Odhanan said:I suspect the sheer size of the boards myself. I would try Google with an advanced search. That's what I use here, too, until my community supporter account might get activated some day.Odhanan said:There's no way to get access to the Search function on Wizards' boards, right?
