Though Arain can make out a few bits of the conversation, he can not make out the entire thing, though with the halfling's statements he can piece together what was said.

Pretty Much Arain doesn't know about the reward being offered and who is suppose to be saved. Other than that you can piece the converstation to together

"Well," Arain replies to the halfing, "It defintely is more interesting than anything else I have seen, or heard, in this town." He checks to see if the bartender has poured that ale yet.

Ulfgar, Male Dwarven Cleric of Heironeous

"Pleasure to meet you, Father Dasmond," replies Ulfgar, feeling better about the priest now. So the man likes his beer, what of it? Ulfgar has been known to make a few pints disappear, himself. In fact, nothing sounds better than a cold one right now.

Not wanting to rush Durann, he says nothing, but he also makes no effort to hide that his attention keeps wandering toward the inn.

Durann Brightstone: Paladin of Heironeous

Durann curtsies and says, "Well we had better be off. Prehaps we could have dinner together some night. It is always best to keep up with the spiritual lives of the people in the town we are stationed in." That said she turns on her heal almost in militery fashion and says to Ulfgar "It's off to the Inn for us? I can hear a hot bath calling me from that direction."

Edriel, a pretty elven girl, walks downstairs and into the bar, shrugging her pack onto her back. She spots the human man with the rapier at the bar and stares at him for a second or two, then shakes her head.

"Greetings," she says in Elven to the elf man. And then she nods to the serving girl and smiles. "Thank you for everything," she continues in Common.

Kerowyn smiled, and nodded at Rashford. "Thank you. Rash I apprecatie this vey much." She said as she stood from the table, and added, "Though I would like to stay and chat with you I need to get back to some pressing matters. I bid you luck, and I pray for your safe return Rashford." She than began to head for the door to the inn.

The serving girl smiled at Edriel put a plate of roast beef in front of Arain as the dwarf poured him a glass of ale. "That'll be 2 gold and a sliver." The dwarf said as he turned his attetion to the man at the bar. "We've some beef soup, vegtable soup, and the speacial which is roast beef today."

Father Dasmond smiled at Durann, and said, "I would enjoy having dinner with you, and you partner. I'll be praying to Pelor that you'll both find what you both are looking for."

As soon as the woman left Rash placed his hands on his head and ruffled his hair with a slight groan of frustration placing his chin and arms on the table.
"What am I supposed to do now...?"
He knew if he hired somebody he'd be broke by sundown and he could get killed if he went alone.

Arain smiled winningly at the elfish woman. "Greetings lady," he replies in Elven, "It's quite a pleasant surprise to find another of the kin in a remote area such as this, would you care to join us for a drink?"

Arain places a stack of five gold before the bartender. "Ale, or wine, for Carlos, and ..." He looks at the lady, expecting a name.

EDIT: Whoops, I "smiled winningly" too much. :p

Ulfgar, Male Dwarven Cleric of Heironeous

Ulfgar and Durann make their way across to the inn. Although his own exhaustion and thirst are at the front of his mind, Ulfgar is always on the lookout to good and thus bring honor to his deity. With this motivation, he takes a few moments to scan the room. His eyes fall on a young man in peasant's clothing and dishevelled black hair slumped onto a table.

"This young man looks like he has seen better times, Durann. I'm going to see if he could use any help from a man of the cloth. I suppose he could go see Dasmond, but perhaps he needs a priest whose drinking is in the immediate future rather than the recent past," he says with a wink and a grin.

With this, Ulfgar walks over to the young man [Rashford] and says, "Excuse me, son, do you mind if we [or I] sit with you? Perhaps you could suggest some of the local fare to eat..."

"Edriel," Edriel says, extending a hand. "Pleased to make your acquaintance. And I'd love to join you. I'll have a glass of wine, please."
