The barkeep shakes his head and answer to Durann, "No miss, I've got nothing for you to do here. I've been fine with checking into the church every so often."

(well here goes the dumbest recruit for an adventure ever)
Rashford steps in through the doors fully suited looking out to every one raising his his hand in the air and his voice.
"Any self-proclaimed adventurers who are interested in aiding me come now. I'll explain the details along the way and there shall be a reward for your troubles however minuscule it might be."
Embarrassed by the words he borrowed from the his uncle while he was getting ready, Rashford turned and proceeded outside the inn tapping his foot in the dirt outside.
(*rolls eyes* I hope this pleases the jury to prove I'm being put up to forcing the adventure. Sorry to anyone who actually wanted to get into the fun of actually meeting one another.)

"Mmmh, A Call For Help. Well, ladies and gentlemen, Sir Rupert d'Orien shall not be found wanting! "

With a flourish and a bow he stands up and goes over to the young man.

"Good day, young man. Sir Rupert d'Orien, at your service. "

Ulfgar: Dwarven Cleric of Heironeous

Ulfgar stands up from his seat when the young man re-enters. He is quite pleased at the reaction of Sir Rupert--he is beginning to feel that this really may be what Heironeous called him and Durann here for. "I'll come with you, too. I can't wait to find out where we're going!"

The cleric then turns to Sir Rupert, "Sir Rupert, my name is Ulfgar, and I am a cleric of Heironeous. No doubt you heard the introduction made by my traveling companion, the Paladin Durann. I am pleased to make your aquaintance."

As Ulfgar prepares to leave with the young man and Sir Rupert, he looks around for Durann, "My dear friend, will you be coming with us?"

Carlos shakes off a mild layer of confusion. Perhaps the long journey and alcohol on an empty stomach was affecting him. He felt as if he'd been stunned in place for far too long....

Shaking his head once more for luck, he makes his way outside to where Rashford is waiting.

Good day to you... My name is Carlos. Your cause sounds worthy and I'll aid you...

"I will call it an honour to have you fight at my side, Brother Ulfgar. Not one, but two servants of the noble Deity of Warfare are more than any man can hope for to go forth on a noble quest. Now we'll see what this is really about, for I fear my enthousiasm got the better of me."

"I certainly hope not, but I also am curious about the situation. My travelling companion and I were sent to do good in the world, and we both have a strong feeling that our work begins here. Surely it can be no accident that so soon upon arriving we have met a young man obviously in need of help--and a noble warrior just happens to be in the same place at the same time, to boot?" The cleric smiles, "No, surely this is no accident."

Then turning to Rashford, "However, perhaps you would be so kind as to enlighten us about the nature of our quest as we set off together."
