[July] What have you been playing this month?

Thought so. I'm thinking of stocking up on a few games, since I will have to be studying ;).

I have the tendency to do that myself, I wait for stuff to drop in price then pick up more stuff that I can often find the time to play.

I see. I was able to play a demo of Jedi outcast one time on my pc, which is running a P3 266, but it was hell...

Well there you go, it 'requires' a 350, I only have an 866 at the moment with 512 megs of RAM and a Radeon 9000 and both games run well with everything turned up so I don't see you having any trouble with something newer.

I'd probably get Jedi Academy, if I could find it somewhere for $20 or so,

If you have an Electronics Boutique (or related store) and don't mind used games stop in and look around it should be around $20, new I think it's still about $30.

This is me. No game has reallly grabbed me lately, forcing me to play non stop for a day.

Check my suggestion to HoE above.

I've been having fun with Dead Man's Hand. Fun western craziness.

Been playing KOTOR now for a year and a half; both light side and dark side games should be concluding soon....I think.....I really have no idea. This game sucks the third Saturday of every month from my life away in to a Star-Warsy abyss.

Icewind Dale 2 continues to occupy my time; who knows when I'll finish? Nice break from NWN, though; I think I've finished about 40 downloaded mods from people.....the game that keeps on giving.

And lastly, in spite of some negative reviews, I am having fun with Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel on those days when I am not trying to think too hard and want some post-apocalyptic madness.

I've been playing NWN lately ... I got it the day it came out, had joined a guild, had great plans, but then the SP campaign sucked and my PC wasn't up to it, so I let it rest ... now, two years later, with the two expansions and INCREDIBLY well made modules from the community, it's great fun :)

I finished Adam Miller's Dreamcatcher series today, the sequel to Lords of Shadows. Both are great adventures going over 4-5 modules and about 10-20 hours of playing time each. Nice (if not perfect) possibilities for roleplaying, good scripting and nice challenges, though less of hack&slash kind. (Try going up naked without spells as sorcerer against some bone golem thingy ...
Took me about ten tries until I found, that I could lure the thing into one of the many traps and take it out this way
).

Tomorrow I'm going to get SoU and play the SP campaign, I have HotU already but only took a brief look so far.

Mmhh, that reminds me ... a BG2 period should come up during the next few months. I still take up this greatest of all games about twice a year for a few weeks - it's simply brilliant. There are so many mods I still have to implement, even though I do my best ...

But for now I'm planning on doing alot of NWN, maybe playing online, too, if I can find my old buddies ... is there by chance such a thing as an ENWorld NWN group or something?

I just upgraded my machine recently, so I've put some older games on, as well as some of my mainstays. Currently, I have installed: Beyond Good & Evil (incredible game, everyone needs to own a copy. Cheap too. ;)), Call of Duty, Far Cry (taking it off soon, 1.2 patch messed it up. Already beat it when it was new anyway), Legacy of Kain: Defiance (surprisingly good), Painkiller, Quake 2 (a few friends and I are playing it online for old time's sake), Quake 3, Unreal Tournament 2004, and Neverwinter Nights (no expansions). Oh, I also had Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time installed recently, but took it off because it was being neglected (I've already beaten it 3 times anyway, great game) and I was having some strange sound issues.

I havent done a lot of PC gaming since I kicked my Everquest habit over a year ago. I did finally get around to finishing NWN and am working on SoU with HotU awaiting me yet. I put in some good time on the Xbox playing Heros of D&D and was pretty close to finishing KotOR on Xbox when my console crapped out on me last week :(
Been reading PvP comics and David Gemmell book while I decided what to do about the Xbox.

XBOX - KoTOR. Still working on the Dark Side.
PS2 - Onimusha 3
PC - Out of the Park Baseball 6

Speaking of gaming, I just bought a Sony 30 inch widescreen HD tube TV. I picked up the component Monster Cables for the XBOX & PS2 to go with it. And holy monkey does the picture look so much better! Now if they would only make more games that ran in widescreen.... :)

Everything on the Xbox runs on widescreen. (And the PS2 is slowly increasing the number of widescreen games - some have surprised me.) The GCN, sadly, runs virtually nothing in widescreen (which is strange, since almost every GCN game runs in progressive scan... how many TVs with progressive scan aren't widescreen???).
