D&D 5E Jurassic Park Erm Plane

As the title says. I want some mechanical effects of a demi plane a'la The Isle of Dread. Pity I can't use demiplane of dread name.

Key ideas.

Prison plane
Tropical
Volcanoes
Primitive
Slow rest rates unless you can get to safe areas (points of light)
"Intelligent" races are lizard men, and reptilian Ogre/Hill giant types and croc men. Other reptile men might be identical stat wise to Orcs etc.
Dinosaurs
Survival is difficult
Most Humans/elves etc are criminals or their descendants.
Certain magic may not work (ie creation spells).
Demiplane is dimensionally locked. Spells like teleport, plane shift etc do not work. You can get out through a shadow gate with an artefact.
Raging storm cross the land


So if you have a name for the plane or suggetions on mechanics for the plane help me out. The idea is to be quite nasty (think tropical Darksun).

Sounds like some Jules Verne Mysterious Island elements, too...

Perhaps the island itself is sentient. Or the vegetation. Perhaps there is an overlord like DC comics' Swamp Thing...but malevolent.

Borrowing from Marvel, "The Savage Plane"? Simple and to the point, as such a place should be.

You can have an effect that slowly lowers a PC's intelligence while they are there, maybe something like "after one week on this plane, make a CHA save vs (DC). If you fail your intelligence drops by one point. Repeat this once every week you reside on this plane, to a minimum intelligence of 2."

Of course, obligatory massive monsters. Maybe figure out stats for supersized creatures, like a Giant Flumph. Have a Super-sized Kraken guard the waters around the island.

Yeah I was going to go with "the savage land" or maybe something ironic like "happy hunting grounds" or "monster peninsula"*
