My Mom was made aware of this thread...

A psychedelic coffee shop: "Dark Side of the Spoon"

To which I add a bakery and a candy store, "Pie-romania" and "Ummagumball", respectively.

I feel pretty stupid in that I recognize everything but the first three in the OP. I looked up the first one, figuring power for the last word, and hit Pantera, but no idea on the others.

Don't worry, some of these are pretty obscure- I'm a music nut and Thunderfoot's a former pro drummer.

Example #2 : a Vietnamese restaurant called "I Pho Like A Beast."

There was an album by Wasp called "I F**k Like a Beast", and the proper pronunciation of the Vietnamese soup "Pho" is "fuh".

Example #3 : a gastropub called "Gastronomy Domine."

"Astronomy Domine" is one of Pink Floyd's early songs.

Ah.

Huge music nut myself. Don't listen to much WASP - my metal tasted went to Iron Maiden and the more keyboard heavy hair metal.

The Pink Floyd I should have known- Sid Berret era. Thanks

It was actually a song from their first album, not an album itself (and no I in the title, either). Though it was released as a single.

It was one of the songs that caused Tipper Gore and her PMRC to get a senate hearing in '85, which resulted in Tipper stickers as a voluntary method of avoiding government censorship.
