TSR Just when you thought it was all over.... now there’s a fourth TSR!

In the story that will never end, after having this week turned itself into Wonderfilled, Inc, and deleted its Twitter account, TSR is BACK AGAIN! Like again, again, again, again. In the story that will never end, after having this week turned itself into Wonderfilled, Inc, and deleted its Twitter account, TSR is BACK AGAIN! Like again, again, again, again. Complete with old-school logo! And Michael appears to actually exist!

Michael K. Hovermale says in a press release that an unnamed individual (I’m guessing Stephen Dinehart) apparently ran all the social media accounts for TSR, Dungeon Hobby Shop Museum, Ernie Gygax, Justin LaNasa, and Giantlands. He goes on to say that this person has been replaced, and that all posts on those social media accounts are "invalid". There's no mention of Stephen Dinehart's social media accounts though.

Dinehart has left TSR3, taking Giantlands with him. Given that Star Frontiers mentions have been quietly removed a week or so ago, that would leave TSR3.5 without any roleplaying game products, as far as I can tell.

The existing (TSR3} website still says it's WONDERFILED (sic), Inc. However there’s now a NEW one at TSR Hobbies. We’ll call that TSR3.5 for now. I’m struggling to distinguish TSRs from tribbles at this point. They just keep on coming!

I don't really know what to say anymore, but my job is to report the news. So here's the news.

Holy cow. You're right. All this fuss over a game with about $8000 in pledges....

EDIT: I say that not to diminish KS campaigns with similar numbers, but the implication through all of this mess was that GiantLands was a super valuable commodity, the stuff that empires are built on.

It's $8000 too much.

Hey, if you're looking to support inclusive OSR gaming, there's a much better kickstarter ... you might see something something Chromatic something something here on these threads. :)

Why is it so difficult for some to understand that the hardware does not always suit the software and for others later software patches changes suitability or interaction with the hardware, and that in some cases an alteration to current hardware is required to get the most out of the software.
Misogyny and fear of emasculation. Look at what Grant said above: "saying men are women." It nearly always boils down to the idea of men being "feminized." I usually see this sort of argument as "these men want to cut their penises off (thus all trans people are insane)."

You almost never see anyone talk about the reverse, "saying women are men" or "women who want to get a penis" because the idea of becoming more masculine is a good thing, but anything that involves becoming more feminine is bad.

I believe you do. There are feminists who do say that becoming more masculine is bad or at least problematic - they're typically branded as TERFs.

Yea so small they got banned from GenCon and Origins.

Oh and the 13k views on Captcorajus.

And the reason you can’t find it in the other osr groups is because the deletions and banns.

You can’t say “it’s only also in the rpg site” then go “only thousands out of 20 million” that’s classic moving the goal posts.
I didn't say "it's only also in the rpg site." I said "That is my experience as well. I've seen this topic being discussed at length one other place. And it's Pundit's site. All the other places do not seem to know or care about any of this stuff. Though I did see a mention on one Facebook group too."

And by all the other places, it's a fair number but far from all the possible places one could go to read about D&D stuff.

I never made any claim that what I see is representative of everything out there I was just doing what you did - state what I saw in my experience.

I didn't move any goal post because I never set a goal post. You're strawmanning one though, which is odd and not something you usually do.

I am saying the same thing I said before - I think this is a big splash in a small pond, and I think most people don't even know about it. You have not shown anything indicating otherwise.

What I am curious about is why you want people to think a lot more people know about this?

Except they've confirmed they're publishing under WFD, which is... the exact same thing run by the exact same people?
Is it? I was under the impression that WFD was Dineheart's company, and that he changed the TSR site to WFD right before leaving. But I'm not sure of that
