Hrm.
I wish we could find the author of the original file, Norman Abrahamsen. I just printed out the original from Dragon Magazine #214. From the looks of their society, they're mostly Warriors, with some Fighters being the elite, and the Shamans having a special role in their culture. It says only 5% of them are Wizards.
Wizard or Sorcerer definitely doesn't sound like a Favored Class, from a cultural point of view. There is NO mention of hand-to-hand combat. It's all ranged. That's what they're good at. Hiding in the trees and sniping people.
It also gives them a Dex of 19, which would amount to +8.
